On April 14, 2025, the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People\'s Republic of China issued an announcement: According to the mandatory national standard formulation and revision plan issued by the National Standards Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has organized and completed the preparation of three mandatory national standards (drafts for approval), including \"Requirements for the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products\". In order to further listen to opinions from all walks of life, the draft standard and the preparation instructions are now publicized. The deadline for soliciting opinions is April 21, 2025. The public can feedback different opinions during the publicity period.
