TEC: It is the Telecommunication Engineering Center of India. The full name is Telecoummunicateon Engineering Center.

TEC certification is divided into Interface Approval and Type Approval 2 types.
1. Interface Approval is based on Interface Requirements (IR) standards issued by TEC.
2. Type Approval is based on Generic Requirements (GR) standards issued by TEC.
