On December 31, 2021, the National Standardization Administration of the State Administration for Market Regulation released the GB/T 9254.1-2021 "Information Technology Equipment, Multimedia Equipment and Receivers Electromagnetic Compatibility Part 1: Emission" standard and GB/T 9254.2-2021 "Information Technology Equipment, Multimedia Equipment and Receivers Electromagnetic Compatibility Part 2: Immunity Requirements" standard.

This series of standards will be officially implemented on July 1, 2022.

The new standard will replace the current standard of the original CCC certification

Among them, the new standard GB/T 9254.1-2021 will replace the current applicable standards for CCC certification GB/T 9254-2008 and GB/T 13837-2012 for information technology equipment and audio and video equipment. The specific update date of the applicable standards for CCC certification is determined by CNCA The official announcement shall prevail.

【Standard Interpretation

Scope of application

GB/T 9254.1-2021 standard and GB/T 9254.2-2021 standard are applicable to information technology equipment, audio equipment, video equipment, broadcast receiving equipment, entertainment lighting control equipment and its rated AC voltage RMS or DC voltage not exceeding 600V Combinations, including multimedia equipment for professional use and equipment to which GB/T 9254-2008 and GB/T 13837-2012 are applicable.

The scope of application includes: TV sets, active speakers, audio power amplifiers, microcomputers, monitors, printers, servers, 08 and 09 power adapters and other equipment.

Major technical changes

GB/T 9254.1-2021

GB/T 9254.1-2021 standard revision adopts IEC international standard CISPR 32: 2015, which integrates the technical content of GB/T9254-2008 standard and GB/T 13837-2012 standard. The main technical changes include:

1. The scope of application is wider, suitable for multimedia equipment, including multimedia equipment for professional use and equipment applicable to GB/T 9254-2008 and GB/T 13837-2012;

2. For the radiated emission measurement requirements below 1GHz, the limit of 3m measurement distance in OATS/SAC and the limit of 3m measurement distance and 10m measurement distance in FAR/FSOATS have been added;

3. Added limits and test methods for radiated emission testing in GTEM and RVC;

4. Added limit requirements and measurement procedures for asymmetric mode conducted emission using the combination of current probe and CVP;

5. Deleted the requirements for the harassment power test project;

6. Deleted the requirement for measuring the radiated power of the direct-to-home satellite receiver tuning unit;

7. Deleted the requirement for the measurement limit of equivalent radiated power in the radiated power of the outdoor unit of the direct-to-home satellite receiver;

8. Removed the RMS-average detector measurement requirement;

9. Changed the warnings in the description of the requirements for Class A equipment;

10. Changed the boundary definition of EUT, AE and related cables in radiated emission measurement;

GB/T 9254.2-2021

The GB/T 9254.2-2021 standard revision adopts the IEC international standard CISPR 35: 2016, which integrates the technical content of the GB/T17618-2015 standard and the GB/T 9383-2008 standard. The main technical changes include:

1. The scope of application is wider, suitable for multimedia equipment, including multimedia equipment for professional use and equipment applicable to GB/T17618-2015 and GB/T 9383-2008;

2. Increase the immunity test of broadband pulse conduction disturbance;

3. Add "The EUT that establishes communication through the wireless network, during the test, the frequency of the applied disturbance signal should not be within the EUT's working frequency band"; add 5G mobile communication related content. Since our country's wireless communication system has its special requirements, this content is added;

4. Delete the input immunity test;

5. Delete the shielding effect test;

6. Delete the RF electromagnetic field keying carrier test;

7. Added the related content of EUT function divided into direct function and indirect function;

List of some key revisions

1. GB/T9254.1-2021 deletes the requirements for the disturbance power test item. According to the requirements of the new standard, products such as speakers, audio power amplifiers, and audio and video equipment power supplies are no longer subjected to the disturbance power test (as shown in Figure 2), but need to meet the requirements of the radiated emission test (as shown in Figure 1).

2. According to the requirements of GB/T9254.1-2021 for radiated emission test, in addition to FM receivers, the local oscillator and harmonic radiated emission limits of other equipment with tuning units (such as TV receivers, PC tuner cards, etc.) are not limited. Then relax, the requirements are more severe.

3. Appendix B of GB/T9254.1-2021 makes new requirements for EUT operating status and test signals. For example, for display and video ports, the operation of color bars with moving picture elements is proposed at complexity level 4 (highest); for audio functions, the adjustment volume control is removed so that the audio output signal level at each output is 1/8 of the nominal output power is required.

4. GB/T9254.2-2021 expands the test frequency range of continuous radio frequency electromagnetic field immunity from 80~1000MHz in GB/T17618-2015 to 80MHz-1000Hz and 1GHz-6GHz, which increases the severity of the test project .

5. GB/T9254.2-2021 adds the immunity test of broadband pulse conducted disturbance, which is applicable to the xDSL port of CPE.
